MediGold Care Management
At MediGold, we strive to ensure that our Members receive appropriate health care and monitoring to prevent or minimize the impact that medical conditions can have on their lives. MediGold’s Care Management program is a free, voluntary service that may be able to help you:
- Understand and better manage your illness
- Recognize early warning signs and symptoms of your illness
- Address health or medication questions and concerns
- Coordinate multiple services such as homecare, medical supplies or medical equipment
- Help with home safety concerns (falls prevention)

MediGold Claims Department
As a MediGold member, you don’t have to worry about filing claims when using network providers. Your provider will file such claims with MediGold for you.
If you receive a bill for covered care from an out-of-network provider, simply send the bill to us. We see that any needed claim is processed as it relates to the bill. We’ll stay in touch with you as we work through the process.
Please know that MediGold pays claims in less than 30 days. Generally, claims are paid in less than 15 days. Providers who submit claims electronically to MediGold will most often see their claims paid within 7 days.

OhioSenior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP)
OSHIIP provides free health insurance information and services for people with Medicare. You can reach them at 1-800-686-1578 or by e-mailing email@example.com.
For general Medicare information, ordering Medicare booklets, and information about health plans, call 1-800-MEDICARE, 24 hours a day/7 days a week. English and Spanish-speaking customer service representatives at this number can answer questions about Original Medicare and provide up-to-date information regarding the health plans available in your area. For information about Social Security, call toll free 1-800-772-1213 (calls are answered from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday). If you have a touch-tone phone, recorded information and services are available 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays. TTY users may call 1-800-325-0778, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.
